Is TIPS and Alcohol Server Education the same thing?

Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) is a private company that offers an online alcohol education and training program for the sale of alcohol.

The on-premise course targets people who are alcohol servers in a bar or restaurant. The off-premise course is for individuals who are not alcohol servers but participate in selling alcohol through liquor or convenience stores. A+ Server Education has gone an extra step in providing one course approved for both on-premises and off-premises. Our Alcohol Certification course is certified for both premises. This means you will save money and time because you will not have to take two training courses to get an alcohol certification online.

The Boise Police Department approved A+ Server Education’s online Boise Alcohol Server Certification Program for alcohol server education, and it is a valid alcohol Idaho certification.

Choosing between TIPS and A+ Server Education can prove complicated. However, both companies are highly competent regarding the content they provide on alcohol education. In addition, both companies hold equal credibility as approved alcohol training awareness programs.

However, regarding pricing, A+ Server Education’s certification edges out TIPS certification. Compared to the TIPS training program, which costs $40, A+ Server Education’s Boise alcohol certification program costs just $14.99. It provides incredible value, considering there is virtually no difference between the authenticity or credibility of both programs. However, the learning content within these programs will vary. Ultimately, both companies meet or exceed the Boise Police Department’s approval.
