In Indiana, servers who are 21 years or older must complete mandatory Alcohol Server Training every three years. This training is required within 120 days of being hired to sell or serve alcohol, although some employers may require completion before employment. Servers who are 18 or 20 years old must complete the training before applying for a 3-year restricted alcohol employee permit. You’ll need to submit your original Certificate of Completion with your Restricted Permit Application.
